Situated right in the heart of Cardiff City centre, Bute Park offers a free day out . An easily accessible great green haven in the heart of the city, flanked by the River Taff, Sophia gardens, Pontcanna Fields and Cardiff Castle. The Park houses some beautiful walks, a glastobbury-esque stone circle and if you want to see the impressive sight that is Cardiff Castle, this is a great way to admire it for free. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, flora and fauna, as well as wood carvings and an iron sundial. Many large cultural and sporting events are organised in the park, taking advantage of the park’s excellent setting and accessibility.
