Cardiff Motorpoint Arena (formerly known as the Cardiff International Arena) is a multi-purpose venue; this year alone we will host
everything from an International Ice Show, and the Business Week Exhibition to the Welsh
Bafta Awards and the Annual Public Health Forum. With over 5,000 sq. metres of fully
integrated event space under one roof, the building was designed with the event organiser
in mind. The main arena can offer flexible layouts for 500-5,000 delegates and banqueting
for 300-2,000 guests. In addition, by utilising our unique acoustic drape, it can
accommodate dual conference and exhibition events within the main arena. The Cardiff Motorpoint Arena offers a further 40 well appointed function suites ideal as syndicate and catering areas to
accompany the main arena or perfect for the smaller individual event, which includes a
range of executive boardrooms.
For events the Main Arena offers 4,500 square metres of exhibition space, and is very versatile, for the number of different events that take place at the Arena. Full capacity can reach 7,500, in a standing layout and 5,000, for a fully seated event, which is tempting for artists to visit the Arena whilst on their UK tours.
