The year is 1974, a bleak dystopia lays privy to a tale of murder and fascination in a city of sin.....
The radio's broken, the young morticians gone awol and when a string of disturbing murders shrouds a morgue in mystery, a detective's optimism is scorned and a coroner's obsession with a near-unsolvable case begins....
But when corpses breathe, they speak the truth....Can he find the connections? Is there more than just the clues? Will he ever get the radio working again?
The Lonely Mortician's Guide to Myiasis is a macabre comedic drama that dissects the human need for companionship. The play was created from a title suggestion by Joanna Clubbe, especially for Tin Shed Theatre Companies Edinburgh Fringe debut.
