Free face painting, sports, giant board games, entertainment, giveaways and more
To celebrate summer, Tesco Mobile is touring the country with a fun-filled, free family fete. Tesco Mobile ‘Summer Day’ events will take place from 10am until 4pm on Saturday 14th August at Roath Park and Victoria Park on Sunday 15th August. The outdoor events are free for anyone to attend and Tesco Mobile is laying on a whole host of entertainment, games and giveaways that will suit everyone in the family. The Tesco Mobile fetes aim to bring families and friends together to enjoy the outdoors with some good old fashioned fun and games in the park, whilst also offering free sporting goodies and the chance to win a top of the range mobile phone White picket fences, colourful bunting and classic sea side deck chairs will create that authentic summer fete atmosphere. A range of games and activities will be running throughout the day, including colourful face painting and the chance to work with circus entertainers to learn a variety of circus skills, from spinning plates, to juggling balls, to learning how to walk on stilts. There will also be an appearance from those much-loved English family favourites, Punch & Judy, who will be performing shows throughout the day at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. To make sure that parents and adults are not left out, Tesco Mobile will be providing giant board games including those childhood classics such as Connect Four, Giant Jenga and Draughts, that will get the young and the old having fun and enjoying the English sunshine. Visitors will also get the chance to win a brand new, sleek LG Viewty GM360 mobile phone from Tesco Mobile. All they have to do is pick up one of the Tesco Mobile Frisbees at the Summer Days event and before having a throw on it, text the number on the Frisbee, to find out immediately if they’re a winner – it’s that simple! Tesco Mobile’s Summer Day fetes will offer something for everyone, leaving no excuse not to get involved and enjoy some fun and laughter in both Roath and Victoria Park this summer. |
